Malborghetto

Animalborghetto

Something strange happens in the woods of Malborghetto. Among the trees, hidden between the branches and along the path, the animals of the forest live. A roe deer standing still among the bushes. A fox that seems to be watching you. A bear emerging from behind a trunk. All of them are hand-painted on wooden silhouettes, with a care and realism that surprise you - and that inevitably make children want to run ahead and discover who is waiting around the next bend.
Animalborghetto is the MACA route designed for families and younger visitors. It is half a kilometre of easy woodland trail around Malborghetto, walkable in about an hour at a relaxed pace - the pace you keep when walking with children, when every stone, every root and every wooden animal becomes a world to explore.
With the MACA app, the route gains an extra level: the guided stops tell you about the animals encountered along the way, their habits, their habitat and their relationship with the Alpine forest. A simple and engaging way to bring children closer to nature, without lessons and without boredom.
The path is unpaved, so comfortable closed shoes are recommended. Apart from that, all you need is curiosity.
Download the MACA app and set off in search of the inhabitants of the forest.
